David M. Johnson, D.D.S.

Dr. David Johnson received a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from Oklahoma State University in 1968. He was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and the recipient of a four-year swimming scholarship. He received a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1972, with honors. After graduation, he was selected for an Air Force internship after which he spent six years on active duty. He opened his practice in Colorado Springs in 1978. Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association and the Colorado Springs Dental Society. He retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the Air Force Reserves in January 1997. Dr. Johnson stays on the cutting-edge of dentistry by participating in sixty-plus hours of continuing education per year. Dr. Johnson married Paula Stogner in 1967, and they have three children: Branon, Bradley, and Erica. He enjoys golfing, skiing, camping, four-wheeling, hunting and fishing. The Johnsons are active in their church and are very family-oriented. The family is now expanding through marriages and grandchildren, making life ever more interesting.

Branon D. Johnson, D.D.S.

Dr. Branon Johnson was raised in Colorado Springs. In 1994 he received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder where he played football for the Colorado Buffaloes. He then received a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, graduating summa cum laude in 1999. While at UT, Dr. Branon was also a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, as well as holding the office of class president in 1999.  He chose to follow this degree with a residency in Advanced Education of General Dentistry at the University of Oklahoma. This allowed him to gain valuable experience in esthetic and implant dentistry, two areas in which he excels. Dr. Branon has enjoyed joining his father’s family practice and is honored to be a part of such a wonderful, patient-centered organization. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, the Colorado Springs Dental Society and the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. Johnson participates in sixty-plus hours of continuing education per year. Dr. Johnson married Heather Burton in 1994, and they have three wonderful children: Hunter, Parker and Madelyn. They love Colorado and all that it has to offer, including camping, hunting, four-wheeling, skiing, hiking and biking. They stay involved in their church and their childrens’ school and look forward to raising their children and the many activities that entails.
