Dr. David Johnson received
his Bachelor of Science degree in physiology from Oklahoma State
University in 1968. He was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and
on a four year swimming scholarship. He received his doctorate
of dental surgery from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1972 with
honors. After graduation, he was selected for an Air Force internship
after which he spent 5 years in active duty. He opened his practice
in Colorado Springs in 1978. Dr. Johnson is a member of the American
Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association and the Colorado
Springs Dental Society.
He retired as a Lt. Col. From the Air Force reserves in January
1997. Dr. Johnson married Paula Stogner in 1967 and they have
three children; Branon, Bradley, and Erica. He enjoys golf, skiing,
camping, four wheeling, and hunting. The family is now expanding
through marriages and grandchildren, making life more and more
interesting.
They are very involved in their church and are very family
oriented. He has enjoyed the expansion of his family practice
to include his son and his daughter.
